fernandobicho Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Hello My MPP-2 it's for sale in absolut mint condition, like new. New it's 2000 USD, here in Europe you can find it at 1759 euro http://www.bassplayersproshop.com/eshop/amps-pre-amps/category70.aspx Two channels for what? You can imput each different basse into his independent channel and make the sound as you wish for each bass. You can link the FX loops and the DIs, so you can have two basses going to the mix throu the same DI. Has the volume DI in front panel. A high piece of technology for a absolute amazing sound. The MPP-2 dual channel preamp is literally two MPP-1 preamp circuits put into one box. Each channel of the MPP-2 shares all of the performance and functionality of the MPP-1. They share a master mute switch, master volume control, line input and headphone driver. The master mute mutes both channels at the main out but leaves the DI's and headphone outputs on. Both channels are mixed in a zero loading summing circuit and are fed to both the headphone driver and a single main balanced output on both XLR and TRS connectors with a main ground lift. The DI's are totally discrete from one another and are sent out of two separate XLR connectors on the back panel but can also be "linked" through a lossless summing circuit with the DI link switch located on the rear panel. Engaging the link mode puts both channels' DI's into both DI XLR outputs. The DI gain control of each channel still controls only the level of that channel as does the pre-post switch of each channel, so you have mix control over the 2 instruments at your rig. So if you're using the MPP-2 with 2 different basses that will both go to a single channel of a house console, linking the DI's is what you want to do. If you're running an electric bass and an acoustic bass and want to send 2 separate lines to 2 channels of the house console, you'll run the DI's discrete. Crosstalk between the two is essentially non-existent. expect 1300 euros shipping included to Europe. Thank you
