gary mac
Epiphone Allen Woody signature Bass. Short scale finished in wine red. I’m selling this bass for a good friend of mine. He got it a few years back with a view to learning to play but it ended up residing under a bed until a few weeks back when I brought it home. I’ve had the strings off and given the fret board an application of Lemon Oil and the body a dust down and polish. Everything works as it should, pups are good and the controls are crackle free. The frets are all good, with no wear or sharp edges. The instrument is in excellent, virtually unused condition. The only blemishes I can see on the body would seem to have originated during manufacture; an indent in the lacquer around one of the bridge fixings and a run/blemish to the finish on the back of the body. Spec: 30” scale length. Body is chamfered mahogany. Fret board, Rosewood with dot inlays. Fingerboard radius 14” Nut width 1.62” Pups 2 x NYT Bass mini hum buckers Hardware gold plated Bridge 3 point adjustable. It comes with a decent make unknown, hard case in very good condition. The cheapest I’ve found online for a new one is £280 without a case. So given the condition of this bass and the inclusion of a case, I think a fair price is £215. Bank Transfer or Pay Pal gift is acceptable but I would prefer cash on collection from my place in Hertfordshire. I can arrange for a courier if necessary and I would guess the cost would be in the region of £20.
