chilievans Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Just out of curiosity, What's the height of you're strings at the 12th fret? Mine is a fraction higher than the thickness of a 1p piece Quote
EssentialTension Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 (edited) It varies but E string at 12th is: Lakland Decade = 3/32" Fender Precision = 5/32" Takamine B10 = 7/32" I don't know how many pennies that is. Edited April 5, 2012 by EssentialTension Quote

steve-bbb Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 mine is just a fraction below one florin plus one shillling Quote
Mornats Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 If you own a custom-made exotic wood bass you can measure it with the thickness of £50 notes. Quote
Lozz196 Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Thickness of a pound coin, approx 3mm. But then, I am a bit heavy handed. Quote
