TheGreek Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 I'm glad somebody re-opened this thread - was going to do so myself now that I've bought some TE gear. Thanks fellas.. Quote
mcnach Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016
Great advice all. Got the Einhell 90kg truck, £30 from Argos. First trip South London to Northampton return. Feels pretty solid, hammers up and down curbs, and thunders along the pavement. Learned - Avoiding tube station stairs is complicated when changing lines. - There are lots of hidden lifts, mainly used by lazy people who could probably do with climbing a few stairs. - Truck *just* fits in a Prius boot (uber..) when you return after hours Yet to attempt both cabs, might be over ambitious. All good though, hopefully many more miles ahead..
what cab is that one? Quote

Dan Dare Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Large wheels much better on uneven surfaces. I use a Preston Innovations anglers trolley - being an angler, it serves 2 purposes. Around £60, but takes apart, so fits in the car easily. Quote
Wonky2 Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 I use tha magna, was only )15 in costco and folds flat as a pancake. Handle a bit too short though even at full extension, means i have to walk stooped to pull the trolly, nit so good when mobility is an issue. Quote

fleabag Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 One of these. 150kg and under £20 and they fold almost flat. They take up less room than a folding upright sack truck type Best £19 ever spent http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-FLAT-PLATFORM-TROLLEY-WHEELED-SACK-TRUCK-CART-PALLET-FOLDING-HANDLE-150KG-/171938986722?hash=item28085cbae2:g:D0AAAOSwPc9W2A3p Quote

mcnach Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 those dark blue ones with the beige grille look amazing! When I ordered mine, I liked the "V-frame" but I wasn't entirely sure about the cloth covered grille... if I had seen these I'd have probably ordered something similar! In the end I went for the beautiful -yet boring by comparison- plain blue ones: The foldable Wolfcraft trolley makes it a breeze to take them anywhere... although they're so light that I often don't bother anymore. Still, great cart to have around. Quote
