benebass Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 (edited) Hi - having a bit of a clearout so my Jetstar Bass is up for grabs. I think these were made in Korea in the late '90s. It's a short scale (approx. 31") set neck copy of the Guild Jetstar from the '60s & has a gorgeous metallic blue finish that doesn't seem to be very common. Mahogany construction, set neck & a couple of De Armond single coil pickups with a surprising range of tones available. Condition is pretty good for it's age - a few dings here & there, but nothing major. I've given it a set up since I've had it, but not gigged it - plays fine & sounds great! I'm looking to get back the £125 it cost me (RRP was £449 when it came out). Collection only from Newcastle upon Tyne - no case & I'm not too keen on sending anything with a set neck though the post without one... grumble Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 I would be very surprised if this is still here at the end of the month but if it is then consider it sold.
