pantherairsoft
Another great read, cheers. I've been thinking about getting some kind of dual series looper made as a smaller substitute for my WOBO. I think Max is the man for the job!
Cheers dudes!! For that kind of pedal I would think that Max is certainly the man for the job! Thanks or reading guys...

pantherairsoft
Cheers Si. Johns über cool set up is a wicked representation I what you can do with pretty much 50% of what I use. Man we need a synth player! Lol
phil.i.stein
to go that exra step, then maybe.. but what you've achieved/discovered/passed on has major value in itself. carry on..

Shep on Bass - Interview: John Davis I really don't think John needs much of an introduction around these parts. Bunker Studios in NYC & Nerve. Nuff' said? Thought so... Enjoy! Shep
When I saw this I quite literally fell out of my chair. Well played sir. ..now if only I could get some info on that Xero and "Crazy Box".. o_O I mean.. low pass and high pass sides? What is this madness?! Edited June 1, 2012 by lxxwj
pantherairsoft
The Xero makes sense... The high pass has the same controls as the low pass, but rather than taking everything out of the highs and allowing sub tones that swell up... It takes all the bass out, which I imagine sounds lo-fi and would allow swells down from super high tweeter sparkle into the sub. The crazy box - all I know is it's a square wave pedal - there are bits in the jams on the new Nerve live albums that I know are not coming from his other stuff and recognise the sound as distinctively square wave sonassume that's it. I asked Taylor at IE about it but he said it was the only one he made and Johns ha it so long he can't remember exactly how it worked... A new modern mystery of the world! lxxwj
For those interested, I emailed IE about the custom Xerograph: He said it would take 8 weeks to build and it would cost $495.
Prime_BASS
................ it would cost $495.
Pocket change!!!!!

Pete is making SERIOUS noise on the live scene at the moment and running for a world record in YouTube video views. Having had the pleasure of seeing him do this stuff live a couple of times, all I can say is WOW!! Pete might not be a bass player (well he is kinda'...) but he makes some awesome music using an awesome live/studio set up. Enjoy! They are very smart and offer lots of control. If I was playing synth or computer-based music then I think I'd have one without a doubt.
