pantherairsoft
I like the design of your site, but unfortunately it is difficult to read and bad for the eyes. btw, haven't heard back from the guys yet. cheers
Cheers dude. I get total opposite sides of feedback. Some people say just that, others say its easy to read and can't see why I'd want to change it. I just asked on Talkbass too and the first reply was totally opposite! Ha. Guess asking the masses isn't going to make things any easier! If a portion of people struggle (either because it's naturally hard to read, or because they use a monitor etc that doesn't like it) then I think a redesign may be in order. woodyratm
I can read most of it fine. Except when theres text on your arm/head/bass. Then it gets a bitty harder. Maybe having an option to go text only?
pantherairsoft
Text only isn't an option on the platform I use, but I could make the opaque box that the text sits in a little darker/less opaque to offset that a little. Shep

pantherairsoft
I've taken that advice and darkened the text box by reducing it's opacity from 50% to 25% - I think it was the right call! To reward you all for being so nice about the site I thought I'd publish another interview!! So, I present you, Dan Leadbetter... PLEASE BE AWARE - MY WEBSITE IS NOW CLOSED. THE INTERVIEWS CAN NOW BE FOUND HERE -> http://simonpoulton.....com/sheponbass Dan is the bass player/noise maker with Alpha Male Tea Party - One of the UK's hottest bands on the unsigned instrumental/progressive scene. AMTP produce a real barrage of frenzied guitar and bass driven grooves mixed with intricate timings, complex song structures and glorious tones. The listening experience is something very special. By their own admission they sound something like "Elton John and sausages"! All you lot may know Dan a little better as Basschat member 'D-L-B'. pantherairsoft
How about a sprinkling of Juan Alderete for the weekend... PLEASE BE AWARE - MY WEBSITE IS NOW CLOSED. THE INTERVIEWS CAN NOW BE FOUND HERE -> http://simonpoulton.....com/sheponbass I'm not sure Juan really needs an introduction... But just in case... Juan is the long time effects champion and bass player with Big Sir, Racer X & The Mars Volta to name but a few, Juan has scored his name among the bass elite during his varied career. Always willing to share his knowledge and experience, Juan was cool enough to answer some questions about his gear and how he uses it...
Well the plan isn't to interview bigger and bigger artists. It's to interview artists with interesting and complex effects set ups. I have some awesome stuff in the pipeline at the mo, some of which folks will never of heard of - but mega interesting all the same. I will keep trying to track down Justin Chancellor though
