Hey folks!

I have an Orange Terror Bass 500 on the way. I have been threatening to buy one for over a year and it's finally happened!

There are two cabs I keep coming back to - being the Genz Benz neo212 and the Barefaced Super 12. My question, and I know it's almost entirely subjective, is which one to go for? I look at one and say 'Whooaaa that's the one!' and then look at the other and do the same. The GB is a little cheaper, but it's not a deal breaker.

Money is awaiting, Just the decision needs to be made!

I am expecting exactly those, however I thought it may be worth hearing opinions for/against either cab when paired with the particular amp.

I'm awaiting pearls of wisdom from all you basschatters... :)

I`ve no experience with either cab, but am yet to read anything even slightly less than extremely positive about the Super 12.

One thing about Barefaced cabs as well is that they are very good at putting out what you put in, so if you really like the tone of the OTB, the Super 12 will put it out very nicely, no colouration of tone.

I've heard that about the barefaced, to be honest I can see myself shelling out that little bit more just to see what all the fuss is about!

I use an OTB with a Compact, and it seems to do everything I want tonally and volume wise. It's great being able to give the Compact a good workout with the Orange. Recommended

I`d get the tweeter-ed version. It`s better to have it and find you don`t need it, than the other way round. Plus, you never know what new types of music/bands you`ll end up doing, so the S12T would be the complete all-rounder. I can`t imagine there being a need for anything else once that`s in the fold.
