I've spent the last year gradually moving back to 4 string basses and now this lovely instrument isn't getting used hardly at all, on the rare occasion I need those extra low notes I'm either detuning or using my synth.

5 string Fender Precision
White / Tort - rosewood fb
Original case included, although it does have a dink at one end it'll still do the job nicely

Condition is very good, some minor playing wear but no big dings or cracks.
Low B is EXCELLENT and balanced with the other strings, up there with the best low B's I've had on an instrument - including Lakland, MM, Sadowsky, Fender finally got it right this time.

Weight is low: 8.5-9lbs / 3.85-4kg

More information here: http://www.fender.co...p?prodNo=019056

[s]Price is £780 plus shipped[/s] Dropped to £750 collected/meet up/plus shipping
Not looking for trades this time as I've got a Canon 5d2 to pay for.

I have the Jazz equivalent and Fender really know how to make a good 5 IMO.
Seriously considered exchanging my J5 for the P5, but never quite made the jump.

Good luck, looks like a beauty! :)

I had one of these, i really miss it but dont have any funds to buy this. I agree about the low B. Just as good as my Laklands were IMO.

Are you able to find out the exact weight?

I'm, reluctantly, look for a light replacement for my Lakland 5er after a back injury and this fits the bill!

This'll be an "I'm getting back into passive but DAMMIT I have no ready funds at the mo" bump :(
