lobematt
I've just picked up an Alesis io|2 and I'm having a bit of trouble getting it going. I'm using Windows 7 and have downloaded the driver from here http://www.alesis.com/io2 It takes me through ASIO4ALL setup and then nothing happens after that. Any ideas how to install this properly?
lowdown
What DAW are you using ? Out of interest, why are using ASIO4all drivers ? Does the unit not come with it's own ASIO drivers ? What do you mean by nothing happens ? Gives us all bit more info and i am sure someone might be able to help. Garry
lobematt
As you may be able to tell I'm not very tech savvy.... I'm trying to get it going with Reaper at the min but I'm pretty new to Reaper too so can't find where I would choose where the input is coming from. It hasn't come with any drivers so thats why I used the ASIO4ALL driver as thats the one it says too use on their website.

lowdown
Good news - what was the problem? Garry
lobematt
I'm still not really sure! Fixed it with a lot of tinkering... I think to use asio4all to select the alesis as the input and make sure it had a little green arrow next to it and then it was available to pick as an input in Reaper I knocked up a quick tune with it today just to test it worked too! http://soundcloud.com/mattlawton/be-hop Edited April 12, 2012 by lobematt
