IMO they've got no chance of matching past glories until they sort the songwriting out.

I really like the sound of the new stuff. Be great if they turned back time though and did some 30 minute epic again same as 2112 or Hemispheres.

Had Hemispheres on today, it's still brilliant.

I listened to Xanadu in the car today. It was awesome. Punchy as hell.

Headlong Flight came on immediately afterwards and really drove home how terrible modern mastering is. It was like listening to it through a telephone.

......well, looking forward to the album. However, I have a gut feeling six months down the line after the "Classic Rock" release and the initial label release - you'll get the "extended version" with a DVD of the making of the album or the "bluray 5.1 mix" will come out - i.e., the record label milking it.

Call me cynical........


How about Steve Wilson produces the next album though ?
