seashell Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012
I'm going to see Flight of the Conchords on the 26th of June. Not expecting to see many BCer's...
Ooh I wish I could come. I coud do with something to cheer me up right now. Unfortunately I have an Exam Board meeting the next day, otherwise I would just jump on a plane, obviously. Quote
Kiwi Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Let me know if you make it over. I'll be the one dressed like Elvis...in stormtrooper armour Quote

Kiwi Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Ooh, don't stand on formality. Goodness knows I'm isolated enough here as it is. Quote
Dave_the_bass Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Only gig I have lined up anytime soon is The Meteors at The Hairy Dog in Derby. Saturday 11th August. I'll be the guy playing bass with the support act, Speed Kings. If any BC'ers are coming along to the gig then feel free to find me for a chat. Although we're going to be in the studio all day before the gig so I might be a little sleepy and none to chatty after we've played. Quote

Silvia Bluejay Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 (edited) I know it's a long way off still, but I'm thinking of going to see Europe at the Shepherd's Bush Empire on 1st December. You have been warned And if anyone's up for it, give me a shout. All those I've spoken to who have seen the band play live say they are excellent. Edited July 12, 2012 by bluejay Quote

All the tunes on there were recorded using my Warwick Streamer LX6 its a phenomenal studio bass, tracks really well and sounds lovely and warm (even better now its got the East U-retro installed). And yeah, Kim is a phenomenal vocalist, check out her soundcloud too. We're playing 'They Say' at the jazz festival (where i hope to a better job than on that particular performance...)
