Pick up wise there the standard vintage jazz bass pickups but will throw in a better pair of wizards 64 pickups and a gig bag if the bass goes for the asking price, which by all account is a bargain!!!! vax2002 Posted April 12, 2012 Share Posted April 12, 2012 These mex re-issues often get lumped with the normal mex stuff, but someone handed me a 70's mex re-issue jazz bass all black and it had the most fantastic white neck binding over the frets and it sang like an angel and played like a dream, the finish on it and detail well lets put it this way, it with me now, i refused to let go of it until they took the offer.
