And if I'd said they were bright pink they'd have been lime green you awkward sod...

No way, that would look to funky to be awkward!

I think I would have gone with beige!

Here's the piccies, not the best (took them while phone was on low battery) but you can see the extent of the damage.

Do you mind if I ask how it happened? Was it purely from use or did they get physically damaged? Have a set of them myself, wouldn't be too happy if it happened!

That's not too bad.

Copydex and some white tissue paper torn* to the right sort of size to make a patch will sort that out.
Two layers front and rear.

Don't be tempted to use PVA or EvoStick though - they set harder than Copydex and that inflexibility will potentially cause another tear.

*If you cut the tissue paper then you end up with a straight edged patch which shows up - tear the paper and the randomness helps it blend in.

No idea but I've had them for years. I'm thinking probably when I moved them at somepoint.

You don't need an entire handy, just a couple of fingerys... :D

Did you make models using torn up newspaper and wallpaper paste at school?
This is exactly the same thing :)

Exactly :)
It's actually easier than repairing a bicycle puncture...

...just you wait until I do my expose on how to make a roadworn bass using sticky back plastic, a pair of Val's old knickers, three toilet roll tubes and a chainsaw...
