SOLD
Hi, I am reluctantly selling my Selmer, Twin Bass 30, valve amp.

Made in 1968 it is a true piece of history.

I have had it professionally gone through by umph, on here, and it works great. He commented on how good the clean tone is on it.

I don't want to sell it but I need to raise funds.

SOLD

Any inspection is welcome of course. I am in Cornwall so I know its not handy for most people.

Hi
I think it's cool
Can you say more about sound?
Can you compare it to sound of other better known amps?
Is it all valve?
Is it 30w?
What imprudence does it like?

All valve.

Valves were 2 x EL506, 2 x ECC82, and two silicon rectifiers. (The EL506 is an obscure valve, difficult to find nowadays. Its modern equivalent is a Model 7868 nine pin power pentode.)

Thanks Happy Jack.

Bassnut62:

This amp has had a new set of el506's

It is 30 Watt

The output is 8ohms

Unfortunately I cant compare it to other valve amps as I have zero experience in that department.

It has a hiss. However wth the volume on full it all but disappears.

It seems very loud but I have not used it with a live drummer.
