cocco Posted April 19, 2012 Author Posted April 19, 2012 Thanks everyone I'm probably going to try to find a later blazer or roadster with the proceeds. I don't know what it is with me and slab bodies
cocco Posted April 29, 2012 Author Posted April 29, 2012 Back up for sale. Any interest in this old beauty? I may trade for the right bass
FlatEric Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 For what it's worth. . . . . If anyone is leaning towards taking this on board. . . . . I have two of these. Very punchy, a lot of clarity that can be restrained with the tone controls, each note has a real presence. Anyone who has put a Precision up against one of these will know what I am talking about. A simple bass, nothing fancy but with a half decent amp, would remove kidney stones at 10 foot!!! I mean it!! Cheers.
KennysFord Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 !00% agree with FlatEric on that, they do have a fantastic punch and the notes really jump out all the way to the top. Again, out of all the basses I've owned the Blazer is the only one where the tone has given me goosebumps at a gig. I've bought and sold quite a few mid priced Basses since the Blazer arrived just to see if I could improve on it to the point that I could finally afford an actual Fender Precision earlier this year albeit an MIJ. Now I love my P to bits but guess which Bass is going to rehearsal tomorrow night.
