tweaking my bassballs

wondered if anyone had modded their bassballs with the 2 pcb trim pots mounted externally to adjust bass and treble sweep? If so, was it worthwhile, how did you set them, and do they tend to stay put once zoned in? Is it worth mounting externally or just have a play with them on the pcb to get a bit more bass, then put the back on and leave them alone?

Everyone who has tried it decided they'd messed it up. Put a line on so you can put it back. Mounting externally might be OK.

I'got a modded Bassballs, with the pots mounted externally. Much more versatile in my limited experience (I'm not a funk player so I just have an occasional fiddle with my balls for fun )
