Bobzilla
I am shortly to be praying with my trace stack, and need to buy something smaller and probably inferior. Say an Ashdown mag combo. I want something to make my amp sound a bit better, perhaps a bit more like my trace. Will the v-amp do this? I will probably be going into a pa system too, so the v-amp pro would give a di too. Dood
I used to own a V-Amp Pro many moons ago. Set up well, it will reward you with a great tone direct to PA. I used to get lots of compliments about my 'tone' with it. I tended to use it as a 'set and leave' with regards to the amp model, but only changed patches for effects etc. (So basically every patch has the same 'amp sounds' but just a variant of EQ or effects). Good for the money!
