can anyone tell me the pick up configurations you get with the 3 - way toggle switch on a 55-02
Is it , with switch positioned towards the headstock , neck single coil and front coil of humbucker
middle position neck single coil and both coils on the humbucker
rear position neck single coil and rear coil on the humbucker

[sup]As I understand it (from my 55-02) the switch only controls the coils of the humbucker, the balance pot deals with the single coil / humbucker blend...[/sup]

The switch is only for the coils in the humbucker - you can select them individual (flicking towards the neck or bridge) with the middle position being humbucking.

I have a 44-02 - very, very nice bass, love it. So light!
