Hi - stupid question time: is the difference in the ohm rating between the 4 ohm and 8 ohm versions of the 4x10 cabs simply down to their wiring order? Or are there other differences? Ie can you whip out a soldering iron and convert a 4 ohm to an 8 ohm? Soz for asking!

I literally have no idea!! Maybe pitch that question in the repairs and technical forum... I'd love to give you an answer, but I'd be shooting in the dark if I did!

:) it lasted longer than most! Its only up here to try and gather the remaining dollar I wanted for the orange in order to grab the rig I've had my eye on for a long while now! If she dont sell, then I'm more than happy keeping her! She be a tasty slice of pie ;) But if I shift this, and add my wedge of cash to the proceedings the rig I want t'will be mine!

On that note... Bump?

True that! Cracking price for this rig and someone will be truly happy with this. I can vouch for it as I bought it brand spanking new and NEVER had any problems with it.
You can buy this with confidence, Russ is a top lad! Good luck with the sale mate. :)

PM'd with reply! The cab is in spot on condition, she was VERY well looked after by her previous owner. No tears or even scuff thats I can see and she plays perfectly!

No!

The cones have different impedences in the 4ohm and 8ohm versions.
