pantherairsoft
THIS IS NOW SOLD! This is a rather rare bit of fancy audio gear. It was designed for DJ's to take an incoming audio signal and convert it into midi clock to allow them to sync midi gear to records they are playing. It can accept 2 audio signals and figure out the BPM's of each, and you can pop between the 2 tempos as you see fit. I actually used this without any form of input and just dialled in the tempo (goes from about 90 to 180ish BPM) to control my midi gear at the tempo I wanted. Has a tap tempo button as well. Basically this was the best solution I had before me and my drummer got sync'd up to a metronome/drum machine with midi. This is the limited edition chrome version (which was a crazy £50 more expensive at RRP), though other than being shiny that doesn't change anything! When these were released in 97' they were £250 (£300 for the chrome one!?) and as such there is one of these on eBay at the mo asking £100 - given its old now I think that is a little over the top.[s] I'd like close to what I paid for it about a year ago, so £55 posted in the UK. Pick it up from Nottingham and I'll call it £50.[/s] SOLD It's in pretty good condition given its 12 or so years old but has a few light marks. Has the original power supply and a print out of the manual (which it came with). No box. Links to info online about it... Review from Sound on Sound magazine - http://www.soundonso...es/redbeat.html Manual from the manufacturer - http://www.redsound....01%20manual.pdf Would consider trade with a Diago Showman pedalboard, or other board of that size.
