Ejb Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 After months of trying & deciding which 212 cab, I have recently purchaced from fellow Basschatter stinson a Schroeder 212L. I did my first gig with it last night, seriously loud cab and the sound quality is superb...great cab.... buy one I will have this for a very long time.
dave_bass5 Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Ive been using 1212L for a few years now but really want a 1215L, i cant afford though but good luck with the sale.
funkydario Posted April 22, 2012 Author Posted April 22, 2012 Thanx dave and monday bump in advance !!
thumperbob 2002 Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I have both the 1212L and 1515L- brilliant cabs- unbelievably loud and clear and warm.
Muzz Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Yup, I love my 1515L to bits, although if one of these was 8 ohm, I'd be tempted to try blowing my RH up with it and my 4 ohm 1515L...
dave_bass5 Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Can i ask you 1215L owners how the tone differers from the 1212L? Is there a bit more low end, and is the tone a bit more even compared to the rather middy 1212L Cheers.

bassvid75 Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 1215L 35HZ 1212L ITS 40HZ i think. i own a 1215L and its power with lowend cab.
dave_bass5 Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Cheers. Specs are one thing but i dont think they give the whole picture. After all my 1212L sounds very different from my old Epifani 212.
funkydario Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 1215 has definetly more lows , but the 15 still has lot of attack . Let's say same definition but not middy like the 1212 and . Very punchy lows ! My favorite Schroeder !!
dave_bass5 Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 (edited)
My favorite Schroeder !!
Mine too by the sound of it, and ive never played one lol. Thanks for sparking some GAS ;-) Good luck with them. Edited April 26, 2012 by dave_bass5
