Fender American Vintage 62 Jazz bass question

According to their website the neck pickup in this bass is a "Vintage Precision Bass® Single-Coil Pickup"
They don't show any pictures without the cover on and an image search only turns up basses with what look like standard jazz pickups.
What's going on under that cover?

nope it must be a typo I have one defo got two jazz pickups, and stack knobs, great sounding bass.

Do you get much use out of the individual tone controls?

these are great basses, much better than the american standard series in terms of build and capture the vintage vibe really well. Fantastic neck but IMO the standard 2 volume 1 tone control is more effective
