Grafen Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 (edited) Up for sale is my Travis Bean TB2000 with serial number 110 i.e the 101st made. Koa body, natural finish. All original parts left down to the last screw. Beautiful worn-in look, quite a few dings on the lower bout. Two dings in the fretboard by the first fret (pictured). Lots of life left in the frets. Outright lovely bass with the angriest tone and longest sustain on the planet. Eats my Ric for breakfast. Issues: the barrel jack has been secured pretty amateurishly with a brass plate (pictured) and the original brass nut groove on the d string has worn down just a hair too low which makes the open string buzz a little if you hit hard. Original case in worn but 100% functional shape. All latches work perfectly. Bass is located in Sweden and while I prefer local pickup I'm happy to ship it anywhere. *SOLD* Edited May 16, 2012 by Grafen
Shaggy Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Fabulous basses, and good price for one of these. I've got no. #23. Just glad it's not the fretless model, as I'd have somehow had to buy it.....
bassatnight Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 I have the fretless, and will not let her go! Mmmm might be good to have a fretted twin..... Mmmm.
Grafen Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 Thanks for the interest. Possible trades might be a fretless 5 or 6.
NancyJohnson Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I had one of these. #222. Traded it for an Ibanez Roadster. Sheesh. Where was my head at. P
