d-basser Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 I considered one of these a while back, I find it so so so much sexier than any other BC I have layed eyes on Quote
budget bassist Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 yeah i do really like those actually, always wanted to try one though i do prefer them in red. Looks sweet though. Keep the chrome hardware btw Quote
Machines Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Great looking basses. This in the red would have me GASing like no tomorrow. Quote
dougal Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 (edited) Nice looking bass. Ever since the late 80's I've always fancied a BC Rich. Didn't the blonde bloke out of WASP use one of these for ages? Edited April 18, 2008 by dougal Quote
OutToPlayJazz Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Did your Heritage Mockingbird arrive yet? Quote

Buzz Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Erugh. That's actually given me major gas for the 4 string version in black (which is around according to shops, and not the BC Rich site). Come on shockwave, piccies!! Quote
Shockwave Posted April 23, 2008 Author Posted April 23, 2008 hehe, Its currently at a shop being setup. Piccies hopefully on monday! Quote
Buzz Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 It's now Tuesday! Can you see I've got a little gas buildup? Quote
Shockwave Posted April 29, 2008 Author Posted April 29, 2008 Hey guys. Sorry it took so long, Story is, The mockingbird had the same problem that my warlock NT 5 string had. The bridge needed to be recessed because the neck angle is pretty off. Also the 20th to 24th frets needed reseating. So here she is, She plays great i just wish i didnt have to spend the extra money! Lucky i got her for a steal though! Quote
OutToPlayJazz Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 That's a really individual & great looking instrument. How's the preamp sound through those twin split coils? Quote
Shockwave Posted April 30, 2008 Author Posted April 30, 2008
That's a really individual & great looking instrument. How's the preamp sound through those twin split coils?
Sounds great. I prefer the low b of my Warlock NT 5. But the overall sound from all the strings is better then the warlock. Really really growly, Slightly darker sound then the warlock. I have just got my custom gauge strings through from overwater(Thanks chaps). 32, 50, 70, 90, 110. I have just put them on and sounds brilliant and plays brilliantly. The fat and wide neck just feels so nice and solid. I am waiting for the neck to shift with the new strings on before i give it a proper setup. But it feels so good right now it's just a case of putting it back the way it was. Quote
