Jono Bolton
That looks excellent Twigman! I didn't think the tort would work against the yellow but it really does! Where did you find the Gotohs by the way? I've been looking at trying to find some reverse-gear tuners for my Jazz.

Twigman
You know what I miss with the john east preamps? An old fashioned tone control. Turning down the treble on the preamp just isn't the same somehow? By the way nice bass.
On the P-retro there is still an old fashioned tone control. The passive tone knob still works even when the P-retro is switched in.....so you can still roll of some top end even with the active circuitry active. The active side of a P-retro can either work as a notch filter or a band pass filter depending on which way you turn the knobs - it also has a switchable bass boost (it seems like I'm going to destroy my amp/cab when i switch this in)....the master tone still rolls off the top end.
