After a 6 month wait it finally arrived this week.
Plays lovely and looks smart too.

Added a pic of the headstock with the fancy molten silver logo which I think looks [borat stylee] very nice [/borat stylee]

Lovely looking jazz man!! The deluxe's look so much nicer and feel and sound great, and also you could get away with it looking like a Lakland!

those fender p and jazz 5ers are just insane, the string spacings just like a 4 but with an extra string on, i'm not a slap player myself but having such a massive distance between the strings sure must help! I also just love the chunkieness of such a wide spacing. That bridge p/u looks pretty high up aswell, i must say i do want a bass with a pickup like that 'cos i just don't like the sound or to play f/s a pickup right next to the bridge.

I gigged and recorded with it this weekend. The sound was fantastic and I got a lot of positive comments.
It will take a while to get really comfortable with it though after moving from 4 to 5 strings but the string spacing was one of the reasons I chose this bass as it is so similar to my stingray 4.

The B string is cool. Got a real fat bottom end with no rattle through the amp.
Whats more the B string is tonally like the other strings.
