I got to see Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings two years ago here in Vienna and let me tell you - they are the real deal!

Be prepared for a breath-taking, fantastic old-school soul review à la James Brown. That band is tighter than a gnat´s a**hole during mating season.

Bosco Mann is not only the bass player but the musical director for the band, and he´s doing a hell of a job. Top player as well, with a great fat, greasy, groovy sound. Unless he changed gear recently, he plays a 1969 short-scale Carvin with two pickups and old, worn rounds.
