I'm not sure if they've actually gone bust or are just "having difficulties", but you'll have trouble finding new ones (at sensible prices at least). There were a few NOS popping up on ebay now and then, and even the price of secondhand units are fetching considerably more than they did a few years back.

This has been going on a while now. If you try a search I'm sure it'll throw up a bit more info, as I know this has been discussed before.

There's a seller on eBay at the moment (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370607333725) but I guess it depends how much you want to pay. I just got one posted from a very good business seller over in Poland for £98 delivered, so they do crop up that little bit cheaper, but I suppose if you're the only guy selling, you get to set your price!

I'm pretty sure I only paid £35 for my brand new BadAss 2 about three years ago. Good bridge but those prices are insane. I've got a Gotoh 201 on another bass, just as solid as the BA2 and I'm sure they're a lot cheaper than the current BA prices.
