GregBass Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Are my eyes playing tricks, or is that a leftie strung for right-handed playing?
bassmanguitars1 Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 For all budding bass players - when I first started playing bass, I could not afford or had heard of a left handed bass so my first bass was a Jedson Telecaster right-handed bass which I turned over hence the E string was where the G string should be (all my custom basses are strung this way as to this day I still play this way). There is no problem with replacing the nut. Just check out (Jim Haslip, ie. the Yellow Jackets) who plays both 6 and 7 string basses back to front also. - left handed but strung right-handed
