Loving Ben Howard's music at the moment. If you get a spare half hour this set from SXSW is well worth a look, BUT...
Check out 11 minutes onwards for his drummer playing bass, drumming and singing simultaneously. Yes people, we could finally rid the world of the drummer menace!:

I've seen Lissie's bass player also taking up drum duties simoultaneously at gigs, which is very cool.

I'd also like to put a shout out for my very talented friend, work mate and musician Carl Cole who recently played in a band called Frames:Fire. He played keyboards and drums at the same time. Not just holding down a chord, we're talking tapping away arpeggios whilst grooving along on the rest of the kit!
