2 Violins

A friend of mine has these 2 violins for sale, please contact him with any questions/info/pictures.

[color=#666666][font=verdana, arial, sans-serif][size=3]Am unsure of the make, but has a good tone and plays well. [/size][/font][/color]
[color=#666666][font=verdana, arial, sans-serif][size=3]I bought this as a spare, but have had no use out of it. [/size][/font][/color]

[color=#666666][font=verdana, arial, sans-serif][size=3]As you can see from the pictures, there is a small 'saw' cut on the side of the scroll, I was assured that this happened during the shaping of the instrument, and it does not affect the sound in any way. [/size][/font][/color]

[color=#666666][font=verdana, arial, sans-serif][size=3]Before sale, the soundpost will need relocating, so if you do want it, please give me time to do so. [/size][/font][/color]

[color=#666666][font=verdana, arial, sans-serif][size=3]It's my understanding that they were imported from Germany/Bohemia and sold by the Murdoch company at very reasonable prices to enable students from poor backgrounds to learn music. [/size][/font][/color]

[color=#666666][font=verdana, arial, sans-serif][size=3]As you can see from the pictures it needs restoration (bridge, pegs, tailpiece, chinrest, soundpost relocation etc...). [/size][/font][/color]

[color=#666666][font=verdana, arial, sans-serif][size=3]Also the face is coming away from the body and will need re-glueing, which is a easy task if you know how. [/size][/font][/color]
