The Dark Lord Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 OMG. Never knew these existed. It's a bit good.
Bassman Steve Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Exceptional basses, I have one the same. Ideally suited to fretless. Someone was selling a fretted one a while back and I wish I'd bought it.
Sercet Posted May 1, 2012 Author Posted May 1, 2012 Thanks for your comments. To answer a few questions... The bass weighs 7lb on my bathroom scales, though I don't know how accurate they are. Sounds about right though. The strings go through the body. There is a neck tilt adjustment facility. I've been asked about trades and would consider - Musicman Stingray A nice (whatever that means) fretless acoustic with lines Yamaha BB1200S (fat chance) Status Vintage (slim chance) I'm a bit fussy on colours preferring natural, sunburst or black bit will consider other things (green or blue is unlikely though). Four strings only. Thanks Steve
TheGreek Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Did you buy this from Philw?? If so it used to be mine...
Rick's Fine '52 Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Always wanted one of these, the more common one with the ghastly 'heavy metal..esque headstock, is the only one i've seen for sale recently, these are harder to find, and far nicer. If it had them little thin metal thingies on the neck, I'd be very tempted. Very nice. Have a bump on me.
