CliveT
I have a MXR octave deluxe and like the sound of all 3 knobs at noon with the mids engaged at 850 hz when I play solo. But, most of the time I'm stepping on it during a guitar solo or when I play high up the neck. How do you like to set the dry and octave levels in a band mix like this ? johnDeereJack
I like mine with the Dry somewhere around 12 o'clock with the Growl between 12-3 and Girth 9 or less with the mid switch set at 400Hz. Played with a fretless through either my ODB-3 or El Grande (depending on how dirty I want it!) and into my M82 Filter for a really nice synth-bass effect! shizznit
I like the following settings... Dry - 2 o'clock Growl - 12 o'clock Girth - 8 o'clock (or off completely depending which bass I am using) Mid switch - on I play Higher Ground with one of my bands and I will roll back the Dry control to a wetter effect for that song. Sounds awesome!
