Lucite body Fender

I like this, a lucite Fender Musicmaster. its not supposed to exist. i hope it does! i'm the highest bidder so far but it will probably go for more than i can afford at the moment. i have read that it might have been built for a trade fair.

in Klaus Blasquiz' Fender Bass book there's a Jazz bass made from lucite, both body and neck, apparently as an exhibit at a trade fair too.

So how much you going up to? I'd probably go up to $1500 (all I could afford at the mo) but I bet its gonna go for a lot more than that!

That was cheap. i had my finger hovering on the bid again button and my wife hovering on my shoulder with a certain look on her face and i pulled out at $771. bugger! they dont come along every.

Considering the amount of interest that bass generated both here and on TB, I didn't bother staying up to put in a final bid as I thought it would have gone way past what I was prepared to pay. Probably just as well I didn't bother in the end...

SH!T..... I shouldve stayed up I couldve easily swapped that for a PRS.......
