Ou7shined
Just bought this fantastic fuzz pedal. I found a setting I liked and recorded a couple of mean riffs in my DAW. Bass and midi drums only. I let the pedal speak for itself in my mini video review... EskimoBassist
Sounds great, I tried one out in a guitar shop a few years ago and loved it. Would be worried about stomping on it live though, with the proximity of knobs to switch.
Ou7shined
That is gorgeous! Great video too.
Cheers. It seems to give me all the dirty fuzzy crunchy goodness I like without getting synthy.... and tons of bottom - I did the recording on the mid setting... can't wait to try out the full sub setting at practice.
Yeah I see what you mean but the knobs are quite positive feeling and I don't think they would nudge all that easily in an accident (I'll bet anything the settings wouldn't even budge going in and out of my gear bag) The footswitch needs quite a firm press to engage though so I'd say precise operation is necessary. Luckily, the Mastotron logo has a handy sort of "place your toe here" design to it. Time will tell.
EskimoBassist
It does sound great though. Your video does it justice, I meant to say before.
pantherairsoft
Amazing fuzz. It's been my primary dirt sound for over 6 months now & certainly my all round favourite fuzz pedal. Nice demo as well!
Ou7shined
Cheers Shep. I noticed that apart from that Spanish guy there was a big lack of Mastotron/bass vids on yt so I did this 'un. I know mine only has one setting (and it probably runs for twice as long as is necessary ) but it's a fairly decent example of what it can do. ProjeKtWEREWOLF
I just checked out a review of The Moosapotamus 360 fuzz!!!!! Holy mother of god!!! Want! Want ! Want! I want a Wooly Mammoth, but will probably end up with a clone. Can't justify such stupid money for an essentially one trick pedal.
