The 32in scale i've requested is a first as far as Bernie can recall. I tried a couple of 34in and that last little bit of neck was just a bit of a stretch and i'm used to playing a 32 as well.
As far as the Buckeye goes we spent a fair bit of musing over the positioning etc..... and then Debra made a suggestion and guess what..... Bingo!!!! We had are positioning and it's going to look something else!

Yup - I certainly dont recall any 32" scales ever being done. That's going to be one dinky Rumour! I take it you are a bit of a MK fan then what with your slap requirements and 32" scale?

As for the buckeye - that's going to be the second. Buckeye GBs are indeed a rare breed... One Spitfire... and I'm guessing your Rumour will be the next!

Very strange... but as they say, "What happens in Brighton, stays in Brighton..."

...oh hang on, that's not right is it... or is it...

"What's built in Brighton ends up in the Midlands..."...?

Yes I think you are right - it seems to be whatever Bernie builds goes to Staffordshire (eventually) apart from mine of course! :)

Oh yes!

Since I have had my Rumour I seem to be having all the EQ on my amp set flat and then I just dial in the tone that I need from the bass. I played at Cheltenham Jazz Festival over the weekend and used a G K amp at one gig and did exactly the same with that amp.

Is that the way that you tend to approach EQ with your GB's?

Have you seen Transformers? They are all going to recombine and tale over the Midlands in the name of the South. Then come back home. Probably.

Maybe you have a point. Perhaps they are all homing in on me to destroy me. They are getting close... there are about 10 GBs I can think of within 15 minutes of my house now... Its fairly amusing, the GB/EBS combination is very popular around my neck of the woods... Hmm... I wonder which part of the world has the highest population of GBs?

I'm guessing it's Ferret's house, Simon Dennis' house and my house...

...and with the orders on the board, it won't be long until we leave Simon in the shadows eh Ferret?

So what's that pic then? Your GB and your "beater" bass for the dangerous gigs??

It may well seem to be real... but it's special cardboard, made from Brighton trees. Very deceptive.
