EBS_freak
OK - I haven't had time to update... been pretty snowed under today.... but... here is something for you to check out. It's a take on a Spitfire... but with a difference... The customer loves the way that Bernie's basses play but wanted something very old school... with 21 frets. As the Spitfire body is made to accomodate a two octave neck, the standard body dimensions don't quite work or lend itself to a 21 fret neck. So..... This is the result, a completely passive (vol, vol, tone aka jazz circuit with your normal single coils...) jazz/spitfire mashup! Enjoy! More to follow when I get 5! I guess at the moment that really is one of a kind. I should put some pics up and contribute, tho it really is not a show piece for me but a practical, basic workhorse. Thanks for putting a pic on here. Cheers

Toasted
Here's some photographs of my friend and bass teacher, Bren Travis's Nightingale 6 string. I've been talking to EBS_Freak and he thinks it's probably one of less than 10 existing: Edited August 7, 2009 by Toasted

I do miss my old Rumour! I think someone here should buy it, so at least then I'll know it's gone to a good home.
