Just for the sake of having something to look at, looking thru the pics I have, it's quite eye-opening how the colouring and quilts change in different light.

Last night I spent some time at BF's to try out his EBS Microbass (very cool) and was lucky enough to have a play on this bass.. It is absolutley stunning! The tone is beautiful, it looks fabulous and it plays like butter.. It sound fantastic through BF's Genz Benz rig too (which is also very impressive...)..

Thanks for all the help Jon and for the chance to check out the BF ensemble of truly excellent basses and gear! A most enjoyable evening all round, especially when you throw in the beer and the opportunity to have a good old natter about all things bass.. :)

If it's any consolation, Bernie has my Rumour. Even though it is built, it has spent more time with Bernie than me. It's doing the rounds at the shows at the moment!
Is it the one that he had out for review which then came back to him at the Bass Day in Manchester?

If so, that's an absolute beaut.

marcus
Heres a link to my original porn posting which gives the specs etc, unusually she has no LEDS, http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=11329&hl=gb as for the cost, I like to keep that to myself if you dont mind! but it was the best part of a lot, but well worth it.

Most don't have LEDs. The walnut spitfires really don't lend themselves to it in my humble though... You have a beaut there though dude! Glad you still digging it!

Think I've posted these elsewhere but here's a couple of shots of my 2006 spitfire IV custom - my main gigging bass and perfect for just about anything you can throw at it - plays great, sounds the bizz and looks great - job done!!

very nice and understated, BTW it was good to see the GB Rumour beat the rest by a country mile in the latest BGMag 5 string shoot out, as if there was any doubt anyway!

Not a surprise. Dave Marks and Stuart Clayton have GB's as well :) These guys must play a lot of basses and probably get offered lots of basses, and they buy GB's. Got to say something.

I don't think Dave Marks has got a GB (I believe he wants one)... Mike Brooks does though.

No you're f*cking not. Get back in your cage.

Yup. All use EBS.

I can't see any screw heads on the guard - how is it fixed to the body, any idea? Probably a stupid question!
