Dave Vader Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 After 5 years of being distracted by playing in other peoples bands I have finally managed to put the finishing touches to my solo project, Plastic Squirrel's 6th album, Kicking Puppies. I'm almost quite pleased with it, and almost not at all. Anyhow, for better or worse it is done and out there now, and you can download the whole thing for as little as you want to pay for it from my bandcamp site. http://plasticsquirrel.bandcamp.com/album/kicking-puppies There is a bit of proper bass on there, but a lot of it was done by moogs, and some of it goes back far enough that I played it with a pick and the brain of a guitarist. Shows a bit of development as a bass player really, since the last tracks I put down were with an unlined fretless, bit of a stretch from the first one with my ancient repossessed P-bass copy plugged into the desk and a pick. (10 years ago...) Oh, as a warning it is quite sweary in places. Quote
Ou7shined Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Very enjoyable songs. Puts me in the mood for some Peter Hammill. Quote
