Gust0o
Quite a cool little bit of street music, which is surely the purpose.
mrtcat
Excellent player and a funny chap but although he is very talented I don't think the funkiest player alive would be busking in Newcastle. That doesn't mean he's not very funky player tho and very entertaining to watch.
Conan
I don't see whats supposed to be so funky about him. Is it 'coz he is black? Self-indulgent effects fiddling and a few tired riffs is all I can hear. He seems technically sound, but just has nothing to say IMO. Sorry - I would like to like him! Some of his better work... jay
Alright, "funkiest" was an exaggeration! But I like his style.
pietruszka
He used to live in the next street up from me in Whitley Bay and I did spend about an hour chatting to him, really sound bloke. I know a lot of people rave about him, but to be honest, it doesn't do anything for me either. He can play certainly, and it's nice to see a busker not playing 'High and Dry' on an acoustic for a change but as a few others have said, that style of playing isn't for me. Guest markinthegreen
He was the Bassist in the Dust junkies, a reasonably successful band back in the 90's, albeit a bit duff! I was on tour in Newcastle a few months ago, and I saw him playing in the street, recognised him immediately and had a little chat. he is a sound bloke. http://youtu.be/5-fluGRu4z8

I saw them at a Reading Festival and he had a great trick of soloing with his bass behind his back.
