mcnach Posted May 1, 2012 Share Posted May 1, 2012 (edited) So here it is, my immaculate Shine bass, bought impulsively as it was so damn pretty but I really am not into two pickup basses, unless it's a Jazz and it does not get much time. I'm trying to severely cull my collection down to a handful of basses, and this is one of the ones that will have to go. Body is ash, very light. Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. Very light bass, on my bathroom scales about 7.8-8 lbs Passive, VVT configuration (like a Jazz) plus pickup switch. In fact, it does sound a lot like a very fat Jazz, a Jazz with impressive biceps. The control cavity is pretty large and clean, and I was considering putting a preamp in there. Then it would be a veritable beast. The bass is temporary on hold for 'alyctes' until the 15th of May.
