[/quote] I don't know what the extremes are with SR5's but I have two and there is 1lb difference between them, it may not seem a huge amount but after a few hours practicing with the heavier one, I do notice it so I thought I'd ask expecially as the extra pick-up might add a little to. I maybe would like a 4 or 5 string jazz style or a fretless too...but everyting else also could be interesting...also amps or cabinets. Pricerange should be clear...this Stingray is like new!
