New bass - Palm bay 'atlantic'

got this off ebay, i hadnt heard of them before but for £300 it was worth a go.
it plays like a dream, fast slim neck, extremley low action, mint condition not a single mark on it.
custom dimarzios and a 2 band eq, beautiful quilted maple top.
its extremly well balanced and lightweight too and tonally it is a monster, i would even go so far as to say its one of the nicest basses i have ever played.
has anyone else had any experience with palm bay basses? it would be interesting to know.

Yeah - I was watching this on Ebay too... well done on getting it. Seems like a billy bargain for 300 squid.

its epic! to be honest i would be happy if i paid double (although i may not have bought it in the first place without trying it)

the seller shipped it in a hardcase for only £20!
if you are ever in my area you would be welcome to have a go and a brew.

I have one here that I'm sending back, it's lime green/yellow, it was the prototype for the one you have. Some history here:

There were only 12 made, in Korea, this one has all Gotoh hardware. Quite a rare beast.
Low action as yours is, just not for me so it's still for sale @ £495 but it may be negotiable.

I was another watcher (who didn't live in the seller's locality) of that bass and I was surprised that it had to get relisted as many times before it went.
