It's had the saddles replaced with grooved brass ones and had a fret dress. Feels quite a light one. Ships in a rectangular fender USA ABS strat/tele case which is fine apart from some rust on the catches. The MIJ 52 reissue is a very early one, serial number says 85 but that's not usually gospel with Jap fenders I believe. There aren't any dates pencilled on the heel or in the neck pocket. Model is TL-52-EX. For it's age it's in good nick, well played but treated with respect by the looks. The pickguard has a large shiny patches from pick wear, there a couple of small chips on the body edge and the finish has sunk in on some of the neck's side dots. The frets however have been dressed a couple of times and are pretty low, as is (strung with 10s) it plays without buzzes or rattles all over the neck. Neck profile is v and as far as I'm aware it's all completely original and unmolested. Ships in an old, tatty but functional hardcase. I was thinking [s]£450ono each inc P&P[/s] Price Drop MIJ 52RI £410ea posted, £400 collected 10/5 £375 posted on the Baja Dings etc. Baja Apart from the afore mentioned curled/warped pickguard there are some light pick marks on the scratchplate and a very small (2mm-ish) laquer crack/chip on the headstock tip at the back. Otherwise pretty much like new. MIJ 52 RI Headstock: very clean, a couple of very small indents on the tip Neck: a few small indents on the bass edge, a few small indents on the fretboard and small laquer chip at the fretboard end just past the 21nd fret. As mentioned some of the side position markers have sunk into the wood a little. Body: various small chips and dents around the body edge, small laquer crack on the neck pocket bass side. General light surface swirling. There's a small piece of colour missing between two of the ferules. Hardware: very clean just some light tarnishing in places. Scratchplate slightly raised edges top and cutaway edges. 52 RI is 2.64kg / 5.82 pounds Baja 2.92kg / 6.43 pounds Edited June 5, 2012 by paganskins
