spiritchaser Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 (edited) Sold. Bass stays in Germany Edited May 8, 2012 by spiritchaser
lozbass Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 This bass was briefly in my hands - it is absolutely stunning in every detail. If you're a six-player looking for an outstanding instrument, this could be it - one of the loveliest basses I've seen (and the seller is a great guy to deal with).
supabock Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 This used to be Littleal's bass...... saw it in the flesh just after the frets were added.... Lovely bass, but by all accounts free as there is no price against it
spiritchaser Posted May 3, 2012 Author Posted May 3, 2012 (edited) Price added ... Thanks a lot for the comments - yes this one is absolutely stunning and fantastic to play - I got it actually from lozbass who really took great care of it beforehand. Maybe littleal is in to buy it back? Would be cool I think. I would have kept it if I had not been able to get back my old 1987 Wal 5 (see pic - it's the refinished one if anyone remembers the gear porn thread ..) back for sentimental reasons. Francesco Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Impressive Wal. Are there big differences in sound considering the placement of the pickups?
spiritchaser Posted May 4, 2012 Author Posted May 4, 2012
Impressive Wal. Are there big differences in sound considering the placement of the pickups?
No differences noticable at all - it delivers those earth shattering lows as you'd expect from every other Wal.
spiritchaser Posted May 6, 2012 Author Posted May 6, 2012 Sunday bump - cheers for the friendly comments!
