Jimryan Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 (edited) Morning all, I've had this about 2 months now, and like many of you out there, it's not the filter for me. So, it's up for trade, either another envelope filter/auto wah, but could possibly be swayed by a synth pedal as I've always wanted one. preferably a straight trade as I've not much spare cash at the moment. It's not been gigged, just lived in front of my amp. It's a good pedal, just not what I'm after. Jimryan Posted May 3, 2012 Author Posted May 3, 2012 I had a listen to a FT-2 recently and didn't like the sound of it I'm afraid. The Q-tron +, does your one have the little switch that reverses the filter?
Cyrene Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Hi. It's this one which I believe is exactly the same as the newer one, but just in a different casing, and without wooden box!
Jimryan Posted May 3, 2012 Author Posted May 3, 2012 Looks pretty good, how come you want shot of it? If it's anything like the Big Muff pi I had years ago, I know they can take up a bit of room. I like the idea of it living in a wooden box, could possibly double up as a humidor?
Cyrene Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Hi. Mainly cos it's not being used. I would however want a few quid on top. So you may not be up for that.
Jimryan Posted May 4, 2012 Author Posted May 4, 2012 That's understandable, but you're right, I've not got a great deal spare at the moment. Well, unless you want a Nady wireless kit I don't use?
alstocko Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I have a classic doctor Q if you're interested. In original cardboard box
Bigwan Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Just a big up for the Qtron+. I had a big box Qtron until recently and it convinced me that I needed a filter pedal (or 4 - I'm getting quite a wee collection going!) in my life. Restricted pedal board space was the only reason I got shot of the Qtron. It sounded AMAZING. Really fat and greasy. My proton gets close but is a little bit more polite and a good bit more pricey (and a good bit smaller too!).
Jimryan Posted May 4, 2012 Author Posted May 4, 2012 No other pedals I'm afraid, I'm quite content with the others. The doctor Q, I tried that in the shop before trying the micro Qtron. I found it was very responsive and overall preferred the Qtron out of the two.
