Salt on your Bass? Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 (edited) Hi, Been looking at this as i have a tube amp in my sights of some sort in the next 12 months or so. Are there many users out there and whats your experience and thoughts? Doesnt seem tö be much in the way of discussion out there. I like the aesthetics and its British... I think.... Cheers! I also have a TB and a Compact: how does the VT Bass work for you with this setup? I've been eyeing up the deluxe version, but probably wont have the chance to try one before buying. Muzz Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Tried one a while ago at PMT, just a gorgeous valve tone, would love one, but waaaay too rich for my wallet. The EQ section is, IIRC, the same as in the 550 Spyder, which is a bit more practical from a form-factor and price point. Quote
