New(ish) to effects

Hi all,

Only recently started playing around with effects, picked up a gator pedal board from a guy on here (MindGoneBlank, great guy to deal with by the way!) and I'm struggling on powering the pedals, it has a slot underneath for one of these http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/370607204071?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&cbt=y

Anyone had any experience?

Your link goes to an ebay page that says "Sorry, not found". Is it a slot for lost things?

i heard that this was to do with new EU regs on power consumption... is this true or bollocks ?

i don't reckon so, i've no problems with mine, i think it's a green issue, but i am willing to stand corrected.

Oh phew! I hope it's not true though as they're bloody good value and dead quiet! And surely it's greener than having a pedalboard full of batteries!

As far as I know it's true, they're changing the design at the moment to comply. Hopefully there will be one out soon enough. The price of the Diago ones has really gone up since I bought mine, worth every penny though.
