petergales Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I used to have one of these and I can testify that it is a splendid bass and extremely rare. Difficult to find anything out about them because I could not get ESP to come up with any details in spite of sending them several emails. It is a joy to play and extremely well made. The craftsmanship that has gone into it has to be seen to be believed. The body is two pieces of book-matched ash and that gave it tremendous sustain. The only reason I sold mine was because I have back problems and mine was on the heavy side - even for a jazz bass. Best of luck with the sale. Whoever buys it is getting a first class instrument.
